Unvarnished lyrics and charisma, combined with a good portion of punk rock! With her last singles, TYNA, who lives in Hamburg by choice, set a sign in German-language alternative rock. In today’s times it is good to have people like TYNA, who offer loud contradiction to the whole noise of democracy- and misanthropic screamers.
With “Kontraste” the first joint EP of TYNA with a new band will be released on October 7th. Produced and mixed by Simon Jäger (Heisskalt) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (Die Ärzte, Jennifer Rostock), the name says it all. “The songs are the result of an intense examination of myself,” TYNA explains. “I like to be on stage and I’m totally extroverted, but sometimes I’m also introverted. Just like that I have self-confident phases, but sometimes I’m also the exact opposite. That’s exactly what I want to show with this EP, but also speak to others from the soul and give them courage.”
